Obama takes Presidency

Barack Obama was sworn in to the Presidency on Tuesday in Washington in front of record numbers. He is the 44th President of the United States and is the first African-American elected President. Whether you agree with him or not on the issues, it truely is a great time in American history.

To think that only a half-century ago, a black man may not have been able to drink out of the same water fountain as a white man. Now, we have a black President. Our country truely has come a long way since those times.

Hopefully President Obama will have common sense as President and not fall into the far left liberal pit of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Hopefully he will pay attention to both sides of the issue and be bi-partisan.

Let us pray that the next four years will be a good four years for America.
