Obama to speak at Notre Dame, Catholics outraged

The University of Notre Dame is one of the most renouned Catholic universities in the world. It has always stood for strong, Catholic values and has always been very pro-life.

The university recently announced that President Obama, the most pr-abortion President the United States has seen, will speak at the university's graduation ceremony and will be presented with a high, special honor.

Catholics and pro-lifers around the world are outraged at this decision, including me. I am a strong supporter of the University of Notre Dame and a huge fan of Notre Dame's sports teams. I support the university, but I disagree with the decision. Perhaps they should have considered the man's views before they decided to present him with one of the university's highest honors.

Many groups and people have publicly denounced the university's decision to invite Obama. According to NDResponse.com, multiple student groups at UND, including the school's newspaper, issued statements criticizing the decision by the university.

Preserving Conservatism Blog is now officially announcing its' disagreement with the university's decision.

To help stop Obama's speech at Notre Dame, go to www.NotreDameScandal.com. Once you go to the website, feel free to sign the petition and e-mail Father Jenkins. Please pray that UND comes to its' senses and realizes that the President completely disagree's with everything that Notre Dame stands for.
