Townhalls rocked by protestors, Pelosi cries "un-American"

Congress is currently on recess, opening time for some townhall meetings. Many members of congress have held townhall meetings within their districts. These meetings have been an oppourtunity for the American people to give their opinions, and that is what they've done.

There have been chants, shouts, and screams over the healthcare situation at these town halls. Many have complained that healthcare will be limited if the Democrats plan is passed. There have been strong turnouts accross the country.

However, these meeting turned violent when the SEIU got involved. The SEIU was angry that the American people were voicing their opinions so they decided to get violent with the protestors. In several incidents there were punches thrown at the conservative protestors.

Sarah Palin also weighed in, calling the healthcare plan "evil."

Nancy Pelosi recently commented on the protests, calling them "un-American." She said that it is natural for there to be some debate, but the protestors were being "un-American" and running an "ugly campaign."

It is shocking to me that Pelosi would accuse these protestors of being un-American, when all the liberals did for the past eight years was protest. It is called freedom of speech, Miss Pelosi, and both sides of the story have the right to it.
